Last time I was there it looked like a Moses told the water to just go away in the cove the marina was located. And if u call the marina the guy that answered sounds pretty frustrated with the current water level and no daily business and or fisherman. C'Mon rain save easy street.

I would guess that the water has not come up enough.
Debbie could change that, if she takes just the right track.

i wanna fish Lake Travis, but dont know where to go for bank fishing. I would like to find a park that isnt overly crowded, something easy to get to. I dont mind paying park fees, but i sure dont wanna walk 10 miles to get to the water.

While we are on the topic of that area of LT, has anyone heard anything about the jones brothers park in Jonestown? I heard it's good catfishing but never tried it there

i actually sent a txt message to a friend out in jonestown/ lago area today. lives right on the water. and he says its real bad. like no water at his house. Use to fish as a kid out at the park in lago(good success at marina) and jonestown so was calling to check water levels out that way and dont sound good.

Sandy creek park is pretty much free, the ramp is closed and nobody works the gate. You can park down by the ramp and not have to walk far to get to the water. To your right it will be very shallow, a good place to fish for bass in the mornings and at sunset. To your left if you go down the bank a little you can get easy access to deep water for cats. Easy street had been moved quite a ways down sandy creek so that it can remain in the water. I'm not even sure how you can get to it by land. Anyways, right now in it's new location I think it's in about 15 feet of water. Id' hit up the parks. There is good fishing all over lake travis and a lot of the parks are free (like Dink) or unmanned (like Sandy). My bro caught a 6.5 lbs bass fishing from the shore at Windy point with a chug bug the other morning. Nobody working the gate that day either. My point is you can get to LT from a lot of places, and there are fish to be caught. Google Lake Travis parks, look at maps, drive around and do some exploring. For me getting out and finding new places is half the fun. Good luck.
