haha I am no chuck norris!

So me and Fandangler met up at this spot around 2:30-2:45 and before, he has told me the bite was only between 1 and 4pm and on blue black jigs. So I take off from work early Friday and decide to tie on a blue black jig. We get there and they are jumping a bit. Second cast I get slammed. I cant really feel the fish fighting but I know its on the hook. I then realize its heading straight towards me and a downed tree that's in the water. Well as luck has it she ties me up in the branches of the tree. After a couple choice words, me and Andy decide the fish plus the $6 jig was worth getting a little wet. I rolled the pants up and went in. There was a steep drop off about 8 foot from the bank so I decided to head into the tree and try to break my way to the branch were the fish was hung up. Took me about 20 minutes but I finally got to her. Lipped her and cut the line right were the jig tied on. Thanks to the help of Andy I was able to land the bass and get my jig back (which later got snagged on another tree). I think the bass weighed in at 2lbs 15oz and looked really healthy.

Anyways, all in all it was a fun trip. Will be heading out there again for sure. Next time ill try to avoid the trees and the snakes.

    Thanks again Andy.
