I wouldn't eat out of there...best bet from the bank is lbl, granger, or Travis if you got a spot....I'd love to know where I can limit on good crappie from the bank and have been looking for years, a boat and graphics really makes it without a good crappie house, sommerville sometimes can be good from a marina but not a good solution....my best advice is save up a few thou and get a boat, been working on this theory myself for years and still ain't got a few thou...wth

Minnows usually work when jigs don't, I've also caught them on other lures...I caught a 15 1/2in crappie that would be a lake record but I let it go on a shad colored crank bait last year trolling from the yak

minnows work well. i have tried small jigs and done well under a cork and just barely moving it
i used to take small plastic shad, hook them in the back just like a minnow, put them under a cork and work them extra slow. seems like the bigger crappie go for them. dang, i am going to call my dad right now and see if he wants to go go down there in the morning. he lives only a few miles from the park!
