    Lake Pflugerville

Checked out Lake Pflugerville this weekend to try out some new plastics.. to many people wind surfing on the dam side, so made my way out to the opposite side. Caught a about a dozen bass, nothing less than 2lbs biggest running 4lbs maybe half way to 5.

That's good numbers! I've caught one bass out there...about the size of a stapler. I might try to get out there and see how the bass have grown.

They love the drop-shot out there with finesse baits.

Nah, there is still plenty of nice fish in there. Actually got a limit of LMB's one afternoon a couple of weeks ago. Threw 1/4 ounce jig with a baby rattlesnake and a Aglia inline spinner at them. Surprised the heck out of myself, got my limit in about 2 1/2 hours after work. All fish were around 2 - 2 1/2# range.

definitely not lunkers, but not too shabby either. Might just have to head over there this weekend and see what it's about.
