Fished 1.5 hrs. today caught only one. It was about 4lbs on a crankbait. Fun start to what should be a good spring.

Re: Bright Lake
Bright Lake, Round Rock
Excellent bank access. Hiking paths, restrooms, picnic tables and playground equipment are located on site.
From I-35, take the HWY 79 exit, head east on HWY 79 and turn left onto Old Settlers Park about 3 miles from I-35.
Bright Lake is stocked as needed by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Fish Hatchery program. *The most common species are Bass, Catfish, and Perch. *There is one fishing pier. *
For fishing rules and regulations please refer to the Texas Parks and Wildlife Hunting and Fishing rules
